Superior Notary - Client Fee Schedule
Thank you for choosing Superior Notary to represent your company. We want you to know that we appreciate the opportunity to serve you and your clients. As part of our commitment to making business flow smoothly, we have prepared this rate schedule for your reference. We will keep this rate schedule up to date and available on the Superior Notary.com web site for reference.
Client Fee Schedule - Updated 9/10/2008
$95.00 - Mobile Notary Visit for Living Trusts including first 3 notaries.
$12 per notary thereafter.
$140.00 - Mobile Notary Visit for Mortgage Documents
$35.00 - Notary Wait Fee - Please read carefully.
After waiting for 15 minutes from the time of a scheduled signing, each 15 minutes of wait time or portion thereof is billed at $35 to retain the notary for any reason. For example, if a notary is asked to wait at your office for 15 minutes from the scheduled appointment, there is no additional fee. From 16 minutes to 30 the wait fee is $35. From 31 minutes to 45 minutes is an additional $35 making the total wait fee $70. Notaries will not wait for longer than 45 minutes unless cleared by Superior Notary. Notaries may decline to wait longer that 15 minutes if the wait will conflict with scheduling commitments.
$75.00 - "Cancellation Fee"
A $75 fee is charged for appointments that are cancelled within one hour of the scheduled appointment. Cancellations are never taken by voice mail. To cancel a signing you must send an email to orders@superiornotary.com with the work order number and the words "Please Cancel" in the subject line or speak directly with one of our staff. Printing fees, if any, are always charged separately regardless of cancellation time.
$140.00 - Client "Refusal to Sign"
The following instructions are taken from the "Schedule a Notary" form on the Superior Notary web site:
"If there are questions during the signing, our notary will attempt to contact the person or persons listed in the "Contact During Signing" section during the signing. If the notary cannot make contact on a critical issue and the signing is not completed, a new booking will be created and the "Mobile Notary Visit" fee will be charged. Many signings take place after regular business hours. Please make sure that your contact and phone number is available at any time."
Our notaries are required to do the following before they can submit an invoice to us for a "Refusal to Sign" booking.
- Contact the person or persons listed in the "Contact During Signing" section of the online order form.
- Contact Superior Notary to clear the "refusal to sign" before leaving the area.
$75.00 - Client "No-Show"
A "No-Show" fee will be charged after our notary does the following:
- Notary arrives to find that the client is not present and immediately contacts a Superior Notary representative to begin a 30 min wait period. During the 30 minute wait period, the notary will attempt to contact the client.
- Notary will contact Superior Notary after 30 minutes to get a "No-Show" approval.
$75.00 - Lender or Title Company - Omission resulting in a follow-up visit
A $75.00 fee is charged each time a notary visits your client to have documents signed due to lender or title omission. This fee applies to 5 or fewer pages. Omissions that require a redraw will be billed at the redraw price.
$140.00 - Lender or Title Company - Documents Redrawn
Documents that must be redrawn are billed at the normal "Mobile Notary Visit" rate.
$00.00 - Notary - Omission during Signing
If a signature, stamp, or initials are omitted from one or more documents in a package our notaries will remedy the problem at no additional charge. Please contact Superior Notary to report notary omissions rather than contacting the notary. By doing so we are able to monitor customer service quality
$55.00 - Notary - Document Printing
You will be charged $50 for document printing.
$35.00 - Notary - 2nd Mortage Printing
Superior Notary terms are due upon receipt of invoice.
